Berlin Paper Models
The capital contributes two landmarks: the Reichstag building and the Berlin TV Tower, the tallest structure in Germany.
Architecture in Berlin
Berlin is built flatter than Frankfurt, but two of its structures are known almost everywhere. The TV Tower at Alexanderplatz is 368 meters tall, the tallest structure in Germany, and the Reichstag is the best-known parliament building in the country.
What to watch out for when building
Each Berlin model sets its own task. The sphere of the TV Tower is made of segments that want to be pre-curved before you glue them. On the Reichstag the glass dome comes last and takes the most care.
Berlin TV Tower
At 368 meters, the Berlin Television Tower is the tallest structure in Germany and the fourth tallest television tower in Europe. The Berlin TV Tower is one of the most famous sights of the German capital.
Reichstag Building
The Reichstag building is the seat of the German Bundestag and was originally built in the neo-renaissance style until 1894. The reopening took place in 1999, when a striking dome was erected.
