London Paper Models
Two towers from the City of London: The Shard and The Leadenhall Building.
Architecture in London
London kept its skyline low for a long time, and the towers that broke that habit stand out all the more. The Shard reaches 310 meters at London Bridge, the tallest building in the United Kingdom. The Leadenhall Building earned its nickname, the Cheesegrater, from the wedge shape that keeps the view of St Paul’s clear.
What to watch out for when building
The Shard is eight glass facets that lean toward a point and never quite meet, so the tip stays open on the model too. The Leadenhall Building has one sloping face: fold it before you close the body, not after.

The Leadenhall Building
The Leadenhall Building is a skyscraper in London designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. The office building is located in the financial district and known because of its distinctive wedge shape.

The Shard
The Shard is the tallest building in the United Kingdom with a height of 309 meters. The skyscraper features public viewing platforms and is a tourist attraction in London.
