The First Skyscraper Models For Chicago Selected
Planning has begun to create the first crafting models for skyscrapers in Chicago. Currently these high-rise buildings are planned to be created as tinker sheets:
- Willis Tower, for a long time the tallest building in the world
- 875 North Michigan Avenue, still widely known as the John Hancock Center
Chicago is where the skyscraper began, so the city belongs in the collection early. Once the sheets are finished they appear in the Chicago building directory.
